long course ranking for swims since 1 October 2004 have been updated to include Age
National results. Top 10 Certificates will be issued on the basis of these rankings.

Congratulations to Sarah Paton who broke the Open ACT Residents 1500m
freestyle record on the way to winning gold in this event. Sarah also picked up a bronze in
the 400m IM.
Jeremy Huntley broke the 16 years Residents record for 50m back. Well done!
Katrina Lewis won three bronze medals the multi disability events: 50 fly, 400 free
and 100 free.

Medal winners were: Katrina Lewis - gold in the multi-disability 100m freestyle;
Sarah Paton with bronze in the 100m Fly;
and bronze to Siobhan Paton in the multi-disability 100m breaststroke.

Day 2
results for ACT swimmers.
Tonight Sarah Paton broke the Women's Open and 17 and over ACT Residents 400m IM in
a time of 4:51.94. Thie previous record had been set by Michelle Pearson back in 1986.
Well done, Sarah. A super effort. This swim earned Sarah a gold medal.
Other medal winners were: Katrina Lewis - gold in the multi-disability 400m freestyle
and silver to Siobhan Paton in the multi-disability 100m backstroke.

Medal winners were Sarah Paton (Gold) in the 1500m freestyle;
Katrina Lewis (Gold) in the multi-disability 50m freestyle and bronze in the
multi-disability 200m IM.

2005 AIS International Swimming Open

Congratulations to Alice Mills for breaking the ACT womens 50m freestyle
record and the backing up and breaking the 100m freestyle record in 54.68.
Her 50m free times were 25.11 in the heats and 25.03 in the final.
These were also ACT 17 & over records. She provisionally broke 4 national 18 years records.
Two ACT resident records were broken at the meet: Erin Priestly broke the 12 years 50m
freestyle record in a time of 29.54 and Jeremy Huntley broke the 15 years 50m back in a
time of 28.91.
Stephanie Williams broke the ACT 15 years 200m backstroke in a time of 2:14.60 taking .50
of a second off Leigh Habler's time set in 1992.
Congratulations and well done to to you all. The ACT records page has been updated to
reflect these great swims.
