Swimming Clubs in the ACT

The ACT district has a number of strong and vibrant Swim Clubs, which local swimmers are encouraged to join.  All offer professional coaching for swimmers on many levels, from learn-to-swim right through to Australian National Championship qualifiers.  These Clubs are based at swimming facilities all over Canberra, and all welcome enquiries from prospective new members.

Burley Griffin Burley Griffin Amateur Swim Club
Burley Griffin Swimming Club caters for all swimmers ranging from development squad swimmers to Australian Team members. The club has a proven pathway for swimmers. The club is located at the Canberra Grammar School's indoor 25m pool in Red Hill. The club hosts it's club night on the first Friday of each month and welcomes swimmers of all standards and ages to enjoy a fun-filled night. Canberra Canberra Amateur Swimming Club
The Canberra Amateur Swimming Club (CASC) is Canberra's oldest swimming club CASC swimmers train at both the Canberra Olympic Pool in Canberra's Civic Centre and at Club Aquatics at the Australian Institute of Sport swimming facility in Bruce.  We offer training for all levels of swimmers, from those just finishing learn to swim through to state and national representative levels.  For further information please visit our web site www.canberra.org.au or contact Jeremy Moore on 0401349995.
 
CRUIZ CRUIZ Swim Club
CRUIZ Swim Club was established in March 2003 and caters for all levels of competitive swimmers - from the very beginner, all the way through to the seasoned national-level competitor. Our coaches Ingrid Mears and Kate Piper are also able to offer stroke correction and fitness sessions to adults, non-competitive swimmers and other athletes (e.g. water polo players and triathletes).

Dickson Dickson Amateur Swimming Club
Dickson operates from Dickson Aquatic Centre, Cowper St, Dickson during summer.  Dickson is a 'family' swimming club encouraging broad-based participation in swimming by people of all ages.  For further information please check our Website or write to Dickson Swimming Club Inc. Ginninderra Swimming Club
Based at the Canberra International Sports and Aquatic centre (CISAC), 100 Eastern Valley Way, Belconnen, 2617, the Club caters for swimmers of all ages and ability levels from the novice to the elite. The club has a strong presence at all local meets and is a strong contender at NSW Country, NSW State and Australian National Championships. Coaching is provided by CISAC Swim Academy at CISAC.

Queanbeyan Queanbeyan Leagues Swimming Club
Queanbeyan Leagues Swimming Club offers training at the Queanbeyan Aquatic Centre six days per week. 2 coaches provide a friendly and positive training environment to achieve your goals.
Our club aims to promote swimming at all levels and provides opportunities for swimmers to improve strokes and performance though a variety of activities. We are always keen to encourage a strong club spirit.
Club Nights are held weekly in summer on a Wednesday evening. The Point Score Competition will be conducted on these nights and caters to the needs of developing swimmers. Points are awarded for improvement in personal best times as well as for competing. The weekly program includes all strokes/distances in a rotating schedule.

Telopea Telopea Amateur Swimming Club
Telopea is a strong club with a proud record spanning over 40 years. The club is committed to swimming excellence over many levels ranging from novice to Olympian and Paraolympian. Tuggeranong Vikings Tuggeranong Vikings Swim Club
Tuggeranong Vikings warmly welcomes new members to join our family oriented club. We operate from the newly refurbished Lakeside Leisure Centre in Tuggeranong and employ two highly qualified silver level coaches and other qualified coaching staff. We pride ourselves on balancing the fun of swimming with the personal satisfaction of serious competition. We cater for all levels of swimming up to Australian Open Championships standard and introduce competition through our 25 metre events at family club nights. Tuggeranong Vikings have long been one of the top ACT Swim Clubs having won the President's trophy several years in a row.
