How did the Snake Relay work?
The Snake relay was a 4 x 50m freestyle relay event.
There were no restrictions on team composition - as long as there were 4 swimmers.
Any 4 swimmers.
Each team swam twice. Firstly in submitted order and then in the reverse order.
The winner was the team with the smallest margin (difference) between the two swims.
Just as well the entry times were not used for anything more than seeding as some of the the times were way off the mark. Team Supreme had the closest margin between their entry time (2:32.00) and their first swim (2:32.21).
